I freequently use new communication technology to communicate with friends and family. This is through things like MSN, Hotmail, Myspace and Facebook. I sometimes chatt with friends in online games aswel. I do have friends who i only know through the internet. They are mainly in online games, who i speak with through the game and clan talk aswell. This is definatly different to people i know and speak to online. I have many friends and people i know i speak to on facebook and MSN, which helps keep me in contact with them. I trust the people i have met alot more than people i havent met.
I have been using these communication technologies for around 8 years. I started using MSN and the likes of hotmail when i was 12. My friends and family members were into the msn and hotmail, which then inticed me to start using them. I believe privacy is a big issue with New Comm Technologies. I have personel information and information and photos on accounts like myspace and facebook. I believe its important to keep certain things about yourself, friends and family only. Overall i do use New Communication Technologies and enjoy the communication they provide.
