During the class we worked on some exercises which involved Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word. We Used these programs in ways that educated and demonstrated our understanding. Even though i thought i was sufficient with these applications I have to confess that I struggled with some of the tasks. I believe that the environment is really complex, so everyone using these programs has to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Software and how it all works.
I encountered some problems when, I tried to insert a chart to represent my data, this is because of the columns and the data. Some of the formulas were tricky to master aswell. After i got the hang of the formulas and data columns is was easily understood. This can be very effective in the future for research and assistance.
I found the excel exercise quite simple, having precise attention to detail makes it a bit easier. I use excel most days for work aswell which definatly helps the situation. And yes excel does make a large difference with completing tasks.
